British Columbia Sunshine Coast

At British Columbia coast you’ll find a road named Highway 101. This road is the longest highway in the world that extends from Lund in British Columbia to Castro in Chile. The territory between Gibsons to Lund is called the Sunshine Coast and provides tourists and locals with impressive scenery and a wonderful drive.

If you want to visit Sunshine Coast, you’ll be starting your trip from Vancouver and take a ferryboat from Horseshoe Bay across to Langdale. The trip will take 40 minutes and cost near $10 per adult counting on the season. Don’t forget your camera and use it while sailing between Bowen Island and Howe Sound Island.

When you get Langdale you should drive along Highway 101 in order to Gibsons that is also called “Gateway to the Sunshine Coast.” This place is famous for location of the Beachcombers’ TV series. Here you have the opportunity to attend such place as Molly’s Reach restaurant. Though it’s not a big tourist destination, Gibsons worth spending your vocation here to discover the harbor and delight its views.

This town comprises about 4,000 citizens and has undergone a revitalization that included the harbor and the downtown area and creating the Winegarden Waterfront Park. The area comprises play areas, ponds, boardwalks, walkways, watercourse, wetlands, and is wheelchair available with wonderful sceneries over the coast.
