At British Columbia coast you’ll find a road named Highway 101. This road is the longest highway in the world that extends from Lund in British Columbia to Castro in Chile. The territory between Gibsons to Lund is called the Sunshine Coast and provides tourists and locals with impressive scenery and a wonderful drive.

If you want to visit Sunshine Coast, you’ll be starting your trip from Vancouver and take a ferryboat from Horseshoe Bay across to Langdale. The trip will take 40 minutes and cost near $10 per adult counting on the season. Don’t forget your camera and use it while sailing between Bowen Island and Howe Sound Island.

When you get Langdale you should drive along Highway 101 in order to Gibsons that is also called “Gateway to the Sunshine Coast.” This place is famous for location of the Beachcombers’ TV series.
